Description
The hybrid bird known as the “Easter Egger” is popular for its ability to lay a variety of colors of eggs. These hens have a muff, may have a beard, and each will feather out with a variety of colors and patterns from white+grey to brown+black. They are good layers, but because they are hybrid (one parent must have the blue egg gene), the number of eggs per year can vary from one hen to another.

- Minimum 3 birds per date/breed for layers, turkeys, ducks, and guineas.
- Minimum 10 birds per date/breed for meat birds.
- The date listed is the hatch date (always a Tuesday). Birds typically arrive 1-2 days after the hatch date.
- Arrival date is approximate; we will keep you informed of changes.
- All chicks must be picked up at our retail location: 631 N. River Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747.
- If chicks are not picked up by 6 PM on the day they arrive, you will be charged $10 to cover the care for your birds.
- If chicks are not picked up by 6 PM the next day, your order will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
- No returns.
- We guarantee sexing accuracy on laying breeds - if you get a rooster just bring a photo into the store and we’ll give you store credit for the purchase price.
