Description
Marans are a larger bird that lays dark brown eggs. You may receive a mix, or all of one color: Black Copper Marans are black with copper on neck and Blue Marans are varying shades of blue, many with copper on their neck. These are straight-run only; you may receive both male and female chicks.

Chick Sales Terms & Conditions
- Minimum 3 birds per date/breed for layers, turkeys, ducks, and guineas.
- Minimum 10 birds per date/breed for meat birds.
- The date listed is the hatch date (always a Tuesday). Birds typically arrive 1-2 days after the hatch date.
- Arrival date is approximate; we will keep you informed of changes.
- All chicks must be picked up at our retail location: 631 N. River Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747.
- If chicks are not picked up by 6 PM on the day they arrive, you will be charged $10 to cover the care for your birds.
- If chicks are not picked up by 6 PM the next day, your order will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
- No returns.
- We guarantee sexing accuracy on laying breeds - if you get a rooster just bring a photo into the store and we’ll give you store credit for the purchase price.
